Closed-head (1A1) UN steel drums and open-head (1A2) UN steel drums are available in a variety of sizes; 1 gallon, 5 gallon & 55 gallon UN rated drums are most popular, but we can fulfill special requests for various UN ratings, sizes, styles, linings, and closures. Unlined UN steel drums are the most cost-effective. Phenolic lined & Epoxy-phenolic lined steel UN drums provide maximum protection from dangerous goods that are incompatible with carbon steel; whether a particular lining is suitable, depends on the chemical(s) you're shipping. Plastic UN Rated Drums

Plastic UN rated drums & Plastic UN jerricans provide a cheaper single UN packaging alternative to steel. Our open head (1H2) Plastic UN rated drums vary from 5 - 30 gallons; most feature lever lock lids for easy access. This open top style is designed for solids or inner packagings. Compatibility must be ensured between chemicals and HDPE plastic UN packaging (utilizing a UN rated drum doesn't ensure suitability). For liquid solvent-based chemicals & aliphatic hydrocarbons that can permeate & degrade plastics, our specially designed plastic UN jerricans are a great alternative. Made with barrier resin technology - which replaces fluorination - to safely transport a wide range of dangerous goods.
